Holiday Party Recap: Ending the Year on a High Note

Holiday parties carry a different kind of pressure — people have higher expectations, more competing plans, and less patience for a night that doesn't deliver. Our December run across Toronto, Guelph, Kitchener, and Waterloo answered that pressure with some of the strongest turnout numbers of 2025. The Toronto holiday night in particular set a new attendance record for us at The Grand Hall, helped by a lineup that leaned harder into crowd-favourite Afrobeats anthems than our usual sets. It was less about introducing new sounds that night and more about giving people the songs they came to hear — and it worked. Closing out the year on nights like these is exactly why we do this. Here's to a 2026 that's even bigger.
